STAFF PROFILES

Upon graduation from Brown University, Scott attended Florida State University Law School where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 1991. Once he completed law school, Scott went to work for his family business, Atlantic Molding, Inc. While there, Scott was not only heavily involved in the transactional legal elements of a large commercial business, he also acquired valuable experience in the day-to-day operation of a multi-million dollar company. Experience he employs to this day in his law practice.

Scott was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1993 and founded J. SCOTT GUNN, P.A. in 1994. Over the past 16 years, J. Scott Gunn has grown from a one man, sole proprietorship, into a highly successful and well respected multi-lawyer firm.

Scott's close ties to the community have enabled him to establish a rapport with local businesses, and develop a solid reputation among his clients that has been fundamental to the success of his law practice.

Scott Gunn is married to Kary A. Gunn and they have three daughters and one son. Scott lives in Coral Springs, FL and has been a resident of South Florida for over 40 years.

After college, Brandy worked in various areas of human services including juvenile justice and drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and was a liaison for the Student Assistance Program. Brandy then moved to San Diego, California where she worked with a national staffing and recruiting company before attending law school at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. While in law school, Brandy was on the honor roll and received the CALI and WITKIN awards for excellence. Brandy was also a member of Street Law, a program designed to instruct inner city high school students on basic legal principles.

Brandy spent a summer studying International Human Rights Law in Hangzhou, China and International and Comparative Law between the United States and European Union in Nice, France.

After graduating law school in 2010, she moved to Florida where she practiced family law with a legal aid firm. Brandy has since practiced insurance defense with a large, multi-state firm and also has experience in commercial litigation.

Brandy is a member of the Florida Bar and the Broward County Bar Association.

David earned his law degree at the Florida International University College of Law, where he graduated with honors. During his law school career, David earned the highest grades given in four of his classes and was on the Dean's List. Additionally, David competed for FIU in four mock trial tournaments, leading his teams to two semifinals in Florida state competitions and one regional championship in a national competition. David now serves FIU as an assistant coach for the FIU College of Law Trial Team.

David also serves his community by volunteering with the Cooperative Feeding Program, which feeds the homeless of Broward County, and he volunteers in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County. David and his wife live in Weston, and they have three children.

David is awaiting admission to the Florida Bar.
